Membership

Membership

Hope for All Nations does not have a formal membership. We welcome you to become part of our fellowship of believers who desire to live in accordance with the Holy Scriptures. The true “membership” comes from accepting God’s one and only Son, Jesus Christ, as your Lord and Savior as a first step. To enjoy the full benefit of a personal relationship with your Creator, a Christian must also ask, receive and put to use the special gifts God has for them. This is the time when you really enjoy the fullness and abundant life God promised.
How to know God and become a member of His Kingdom
Recognize you’re a sinner
  • First, you must admit your spiritual need: “There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). We can’t make excuses or blame others and our circumstances for our actions. “For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you
  • “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8). “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God…” (I Peter 3:18). Jesus paid the price for your sin. The Apostle Paul said, “…the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
Repent of your sins
  • The word “repent” means “to change your direction.” The Bible tells us, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19). God commands us to repent. You must be willing to turn away from the things that displease God.
Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior
  • Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Isn’t that what you’re really looking for, peace, joy and rest? Jesus doesn’t put any requirement on us; He wants us exactly as we are. Take action now; “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)
Receive the Promise of the Holy Spirit
  • Don’t miss this important point. Jesus said “On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:4-5) and Jesus went on to tell them “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).
  • The purpose of this “power” is so that we as Christians can live an abundant, victorious life today. To be able to do God’s will and work with the love, grace and fruit for the rest of the world to see, that we are different and the Christian life desirable.
  • If you have reasoned through these points, confessed, and prayed to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please contact us so we can rejoice, encourage, and assist you in your new life at info@hopefan.org or 954-726-2341.
